THE APPROACH OF SOCIALIST REALISM TO THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN LITERARY AND POLITICS IN THE TRIANGLE OF ART, COMMUNITY AND IDEOLOGY
Journal Title: The Journal of International Social Research - Year 2014, Vol 7, Issue 30
Abstract
Whether Art is an artistic pleasure or a social means which provides social benefit has been a matter of question since Plato. This argumentation has been excited again and severly with the authors who have socialist ideology, begin to configure their art in the point of this ideology following French naturalists. Almost every artist begins to put his/her claim about what art is or what art is supposed to be. Especially, the artists who are left-leaning, are criticised by presenting their art to the service of a group or a party. In this survey, the plot “art produced according to certain guidelines” will be dwelled upon with the epistemological basis within the interaction between the ideology and the society.
