Abstract
We systematized theoretical references that support the diagnosis of periodontal diseases, supported by the use of the clinical method, which enhances the work of the professor of the subject Periodontics in the career of Stomatology aimed at preparing the student for this purpose, during the period January to July 2017, in the Faculty of Stomatology of Guantánamo.
