THE COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF SELECTED TECHNICAL ELEMENTS APPLIED TO TRAFFIC CALMING ON INTERSECTIONS

Abstract
With contemporary fast transport development it is practically not possible completely eliminated traffic accidents. Nevertheless it is possible limited number of accidents to minimum, liquidation the most number of its reasons and accidents effects minimize. This required made an effort operations organized together by different institutions like: road administrations, research institutes, the police, rescue and medical parties, cars producers, insurance services, the mass media etc. One of most often last years applied way to minimize number of accidents in towns is action called traffic calming. The applications of traffic calming elements on intersections in built-up area issues have been presented in this article.
