THE CONCEPT OF A MEDIA TEXT AS A BASIC CATEGORY OF MEDIA LINGUISTICS

Abstract
The innovation of media linguistics technologies is on the base of the integration of existing methods which provide a comprehensive approach to the study of media texts. The article studies the context of a media text in the context of diversity of scientific approaches, basic concepts, which itself represents a phenomenon of the text, are defined, the attempt to identify the main contexts of media texts is implemented, that makes it possible to define the socio-cultural field of a media text being, its social and historical conditioning, the typology of the mentioned kind of the text is considered.
