The contours of the reform of the demonopolization of the Ukrainian economy

Abstract
The importance of demonopolization of the Ukrainian economy and the formation of competitive markets is shown. The theoretical and methodological bases for estimating the level of monopolization of the national economy are formulated. The assessment of the level and the main problems of demonopolization of the Ukrainian economy at different stages of market transformation in the context of the sectoral markets and the largest enterprises-monopolists are revealed. The foreign experience of antimonopoly regulation of the economy is revealed. The necessity of activation of antimonopoly policy and carrying out of the special reform on demonopolization of the Ukrainian economy is substantiated. The breakthrough directions and effective measures that should be implemented within this reform are identified. An important role in reforming the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine was noted.
