The Correlation between New Information Technology System and Total Quality Management (Case Study: West Azerbaijan Province Public Banks)

Abstract
The aim of the present study is to examine the correlation between new information technology system and total quality management in West Azerbaijan public bank. One main hypothesis and three secondary hypotheses were provided in the study. The statistical population comprised of 250 employees working in West Azerbaijan public (state) banks. The sample size was determined as 101 using Cochran formula. The data ere collected through the use of questionnaire. The reliability of the questionnaire was estimated as 0.89 and 0.86 for information technology and total quality management, respectively. The results indicated that there was a relationship between new information system and support of top management across West Azerbaijan public banks. Also, it was found that there was a relationship between new information systems and customer communication, human resource management and the behaviors of employees.
