THE CREATORS OF THE UKRAINIAN BANKNOTES OF THE PERIOD OF NATIONAL-DEMOCRATIC REVOLUTION 1917–1921

Abstract
The article describes and analyses the contribution of Ukrainian artists to the creation of the first banknotes of the period of the National-democratic revolution of 1917–1921. The Authors describe the activities and work of such renowned designers as G. Narbut, V. Krychevsky, A. Krasowski, I. Mozolevsky, A. Prikhodko, B., Romanovsky, A. Sereda, I. Zotova. Drawing a parallel with the present, focuse an attention emphasis is placed on the fact that the National Bank of Ukraine continues to follow the traditions of the Ukrainian graphics in making the modern commemorative coin products.
