THE CURRENT POSITION OF AGRICULTURAL ENTERPRISES’ PROVISION WITH TECHNIQUE

Abstract
The author assessed the current positions of the agricultural enterprises’ provision with technical means on the basis of analysis of such indicators as the quantity, power, movement of tractors and combines. The trends of changes in these indicators have been identified. The author established that the dynamics of the tractors quantity is characterized by a tendency to decrease, while their power increases. On the contrary, the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of combine tend to deteriorate. The method for assessing the profitability of technique has been developed, taking into account the size of net profit, the production cost of agricultural products, and the operating costs of agricultural enterprises. Agricultural entities have been grouped (including in the context of organizational forms of business) by the profitability of technical means. It has been substantiated that business companies and private enterprises agricultural technique most effectively. The main problems of domestic agricultural enterprises’ provision with technique have been identified.
