The development of physical abilities and physical efficiency of students at the lessons of physical training at specialized secondary schools of the Republic of Belarus

Abstract

The socio-economic situation in the Republic of Belarus at present has determined the need to change the theoretical and practical approaches to vocational training. The latest progress in production puts high demands to the personality of a specialist, as well as to his/her all-round and harmonious development. The problem of special care is the level of physical development and physical fitness of students within the system of a specialized secondary school, as specific production load can hardly be called adequate to the real potential of students. Research objective: improving the process of physical development and physical fitness of specialized secondary school students on the basis of the development and introduction of new, more effective methods of physical development and control of the students’ physical fitnes s index. Research Object: level and peculiarities of physical development and physical fitness of specialized secondary school students. Research Subject: methods of development and controlling the level of physical development and physical fitness of specialized secondary school students. Aims: 1. To find out the features of interdependence between different revealing of high-speed and forceful abilities of specialized secondary school students. 2. To characterize the revealing of coordinative abilities of college students. 3. To determine the dynamics of endurance and suppleness level. 4. To find out the sensitive periods of physical development of college students. 5. To devise and prove scientifically the eval uating methods and the features of physical development and physical fitness of specialized secondary school students. Modernization of the process of physical developm ent and physical fi tness of the students at specialized secondary schools is impossible without transmission from group forms of lesson to individual forms of lessons. It’ll provide an optimum volume of motive activity thus foster students’ interest to systematic PT lessons and it will increase the physical development and physical fitness index of students.
