The doctor patient relationship process view from communications

Journal Title: Revista Cuarzo - Year 2014, Vol 20, Issue 1

Abstract

Comunication between the patient and the health team is much more than the content of the interview. The simple reve¬lation of the information is just one small part of the complex communication process. There is a variety of factors like the language used on the conversation and the veracity of the information; these are the elements that generate trust and mutual respect. If this doesn´t work as it should and happens the opposite instead, the patient would feel insecurity about the entire treatment, himself or the doctor. On this article we will aboard some of the fundamental aspects of communica¬tion with patients.
