The Effect of Calcium and Some Nitrogenous Fertilizers on the Consumption of Plant Nutrients in Tomato
Journal Title: ÇOMÜ Ziraat Fakültesi Dergisi - Year 2017, Vol 5, Issue 2
Abstract
Tomato seedlings were obtained from the medium given different doses of calcium nutrient. Then, fertilization with different nitrogen source was followed by calcium and some elements of leaf and fruit. In the first phase of the experiment, 4 doses of calcium sulphate-derived calcium (0, 100, 200 and 300 gCa.m-2) were applied and the Rio Grande tomato was cultivated in the torf. In the second stage, when the fideler 4-5 becomes true leaf, the potted soil is surprised and the ammonium nitrate, calcium nitrate and urea fertilizer in the top fertilizer are applied in such a way that the nitrogen doses they contain are equal. The elements (P, K, Ca, Mg, Fe, Cu, Zn, Mn, B) of leaf and fruit samples of tomato were examined. As a result; the most interaction between leaf and fruit elements is between B, Ca and K elements. It was determined that as the amount of B and Ca in the leaf increased, the amount of fruit decreased, while in terms of K, the amount of K in the leaf increased.
