Journal Title: ISPEC Journal of Agricultural Sciences - Year 2022, Vol 6, Issue 2
Abstract
This study was carried out in the farmer's field in Nikfer village of Tavas district of Denizli province in 2021. The aim of the research is to determine the effect of liquid organic fertilizer applied to tobacco seedlings in the Aegean Region on yield and yield components and some quality characteristics. In the trial, Saribaglar 407 tobacco varieties were used and experimental design was Randomized Complete Block Design with three replications. In the study, plant height (cm), number of the leaves (per/plant), leaf width (cm), leaf lenght (cm), yield (kg ha-1) tobacco visual quality, flowering days, total alkaloid (nicotine) (%), total reducing sugar (%), ammonium (%), nitrate rate (%) were determined. According to the results of the research, the plant height is between 74.3-76.3 cm, the number of leaves is between 30.7-34.3 per plant-1, the leaf width is between 5.9-6.2 cm, the leaf length is between 12.3-12.9 cm. was found. It was determined that the number of flowering days varied between 63-66 days, the total alkaloid ratio 0.6-0.91%, ammonia ratio 0.057-0.107%, total reducing sugar ratio 4.36-5.3%, nitrate ratio 0.057-0.107%. It was determined that the yield was 134.8 kg da-1 in liquid organic fertilizer (Siapton) application and 112.7 kg/da in control. In the study, visula quality were obtained in 67 in the control and 71 in the Siapton application, and the highest AG amount was found in Siapton application with 50.5%, and the highest BG amount was determined in the control with 69.2%.
