The rats in group 5, as the untreated group received ordinary diet. The results of this study indicate that Portulaca Oleracea extract was able to increase the LDH level in group 3 and 4 compared with the control group. The highest increase inthe LDH level was observedinthe group 4 that receivingthe lowerdose ofthe Portulaca Oleracea extract. This increasewas significantwhen compared tothe group 2The increase ofserumLDHlevelscouldbeindicative ofachronic necrosis in theliver. The highestlevelof serumCKwas observedinratsreceivingthe highdose of Crocus sativusand low dose of Portulaca Oleracea, but exhibited no statically significant difference compared with control (P>0.05).
