Journal Title: International scientific journal Science and Innovation - Year 2025, Vol 4, Issue 4
Abstract
Oil shale is an alternative fossil fuel resource that has the potential to reduce dependence on conventional crude oil. This paper explores the feasibility of utilizing oil shale as an energy source, considering its availability, extraction methods, economic viability, and environmental impact. While oil shale presents an opportunity for energy diversification, challenges such as high extraction costs and environmental concerns must be addressed.
