THE FIGURE OF HRYHORII DAVYDOVSKYI IN THE CONTEXT OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF A CHORAL CULTURE OF VINNYTSIA REGION IN THE 1920s

Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the formation and movement towards the professionalization of the choral art of Vinnytsya region at the beginning of the twentieth century.The study reveals the conductor's and composer's faces of the artist Grigory Mitrofanovich Davydovsky. Based on the materials contained in the State Archives of the Vinnytsia region, the author explores the concert activity of the composer in the Vinnytsia period of his work.The main aspects of the work of the composer and conductor on the background of cultural and historical events of the city are highlighted.The role of concert activity of G.M. Davydovsky and its influence on the organization of professional principles of the choral creativity of the region.
