The First Peronism: on the missed encounters between the psychoanalysis and the historical research

Journal Title: Revista de Estudios Marítimos y Sociales - Year 2009, Vol 2, Issue 2

Abstract

The conservative character of disciplinary walls is an obstacle to the relationship between social sciences and psychoanalysis. To open a debate on this topic, Peronism is regarded from psychoanalytically informed socio-historical perspective. The notion of “imago” is discussed in order to propose a historiographical account of subjectivation in the frst peronist decade. Freud and Lacan divergences are underlined.
