THE FUTURE AND DEVELOPMENT DIRECTIONS OF THE ZERO TRUST MODEL
Journal Title: International scientific journal Science and Innovation - Year 2025, Vol 4, Issue 2
Abstract
The Zero Trust model is a modern cybersecurity approach in which every user and device is continuously verified in an untrusted environment. This article examines the future prospects and development directions of the Zero Trust model. The expansion of cloud technologies, the rise of artificial intelligence and automation, as well as the increasing number of IoT devices, play a significant role in shaping the evolution of this model. Additionally, the article discusses strategies for successfully implementing Zero Trust policies in organizations and the potential challenges that may arise in the future. Unlike traditional security approaches, the Zero Trust model operates on the principle of continuous monitoring and verification of all activities. The development of this model is closely tied to modern digital transformation processes, particularly with the growing prevalence of remote work and the expansion of global networks, making it increasingly relevant. This article explores the fundamental principles of the Zero Trust architecture, the technical and strategic aspects of its implementation, and the advantages it provides to contemporary organizations. Furthermore, the article analyzes the effectiveness of the Zero Trust model in countering security threats and its anticipated future trends.
