THE HARMONIZATION OF UKRAINIAN BANKING LAW UNDER THE BASEL ACCORDS

Abstract
The necessity of alignment of Ukrainian banking legislation, in accordance with international norms and standards, is validated in this article. The existing Ukrainian regulatory and legal framework conformity assessment to The Basel Accords and efficiency of enforcing the enshrined legal standards are made. Also, the integration perspective of Ukrainian banking legislation in European Union legal field is estimated.
