THE HISTORY OF RESEARCH OF OTTOMAN COINS’ CIRCULATION IN THE TERRITORY BETWEEN PRUT AND DNIESTER RIVERS

Abstract
The article is dedicated to historiography of the problem of Ottoman coins’ circulation in the territory between Prut and Dniester rivers, which can be divided into three periods. The development of the researches from simple fixation of the coins’ findings in the publications to analysis of these findings in the context of the monetary circulation of the region is considered.
