The Impact of Adherence to Islamic Beliefs through Academic Achievement on University Students' Tendency to Drug Consumption

Abstract
Religious beliefs is a set of beliefs, necessities and necessities and a above all it is specific and generalized values from the most influential mental support that is able to make every minute of life meaningful, as well as , in a particular condition save and rescue an individual from suspension and meaninglessness by creating explanatory supports. In order to find out the impact of adherence to Islamic beliefs through academic achievement on University students' tendency to drug consumption of Payame- Noor University (PNU) of Ardebil ;a study was done among about 8000 Students studying in the second semester of current academic year (1388-2010) in Ardabil Payam Noor University ,but just about 400 of them were selected through cluster random Method as a statistical sample. Sample size was calculated in accordance with Gerjesy- Morgan table, where a is = 0.05. The research went on correlated-descriptive method.
