The Increase of the Productivity of Work at the Milling Machines by Lifting the Stability Chart and Reducing the Noises
Journal Title: Romanian Journal of Acoustics and Vibration - Year 2009, Vol 6, Issue 2
Abstract
Starting from the simplified block chart of the dynamical system engine – tool – piece – device – instrument it is drawn the stability chart if the milling machine and it is annalysed the causes and the efects of the apparition of noises.

Dependence of the Concrete Strength on the Duration of the Compaction by Vibration Process
The aim of the paper is to present the experimental results performed on two categories of concrete, C35/40 and C40/50, in order to highlight the evolution of their compressive strength with respect to the duration of vi...
Some Aspects Regarding the Transition from Beam to Plate Behavior of Vibrating Structures
The paper introduces a new vision about the vibrational behavior of beams and plates, aiming to show the correlation between vibration modes which nowadays are considered of different types. An analysis was performed by...
On the Spatial Characteristics of a Circular Piston
In this paper a theoretical overview of existing and well known mathematical techniques for calculating the sound pressure level (SPL) created by a circular piston in its near and far field is presented. A unified approa...
Torsional elastic waves in tubes. Improved dispersion curves
In the last decades, there is an increasing interest in locating defects in pipeline from the chemical and nuclear industries using ultrasonic torsional waves. In this paper, the authors are presenting a theoretica...
Practical Considerations of the Matrix Method Formalism
The work uses the assumption that the solution to problems of elastic wave propagation in multilayered media, in which each layer is homogeneous and where the ensemble of layers has physical properties that vary only wit...
