THE INFLUENCE OF EXPERIMENTAL PROGRAM OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION ON MORPHOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF MALE PUPILS

Abstract
The re se arch pur po se was to de ter mi ne the ef fects of the ex pe ri men tal pro gram of physi cal edu ca tion on morp ho lo gi cal cha rac te ri stics of ma le pu pils from the fi rst-gra de of pri mary school. The ex pe ri men tal pro gram was car ried out on the sam ple of 50 ma le pu pils of the pri mary scho ols in Le po sa vic and Zve can, age of 7 years ± 6 months. Morp ho lo gi cal cha rac te ri stics we re esti ma ted ac cor ding to 13 va ri a bles (body he ight, to tal arm length, leg length, bi ac ro mial di a me ter, bi i li oc ri stal di a me ter, wrist width, chest cir cum fe ren ce, up per arm cir cum fe ren ce, up per leg cir cum fe ren ce, tri ceps skin fold, sub sca pu lar skin fold, ab do men skin fold and body mass). The re sults of the re se arch we re pro ces sed thro ugh stan dard pro ce du res and ba sic de scrip ti ve pa ra me ters we re cal cu la ted, and va ri a ti ons we re de ter mi ned using mul ti-vari a ble analysis of va ri an ce (MAN′s) and uni-va ri a ble analysis of va ri an ce (AN′s). Mul tiva ri a ble analysis of va ri an ce sho wed a sig ni fi cant sta ti stic dif fe ren ce in morp ho lo gi cal cha rac te ri stics sho wed at ini tial and fi nal me a su ring. On the ba sis of the re sults and di scus sion, it can be con clu ded that the ex pe ri mental pro gram has sta ti sti cally sig ni fi cant ef fects on the chan ges of so me morp ho lo gi cal cha rac te ri stics.
