THE INFLUENCE OF MECHANICAL FORCE ON CREATING PHYSICOCHEMICAL PROPERTIES GREASES
Journal Title: Tribologia - Year 2009, Vol 228, Issue 6
Abstract
The paper presents the results of investigation of the mechanical force on the mechanical and thermal stability greases. Research grease composition received was dispersed on the synthetic and mineral oils with inorganic filler. The esters and inorganic additives were created on the tribological properties. The physicochemical properties that were examination through penetration, drop point and quantity of separation oil from greases were evaluated. The influences of the mechanical force on the change of selected parameters were also investigated. It was stated that mineral grease reduces mechanical and thermal stability. The synthetic greases increased thermal and mechanical stability.

FRICTION RESISTANCE IN SLIDE/ROLL MOTION FOR CHOSEN POLYMERS AGAINST STEEL
The paper describes the study of polymer-steel sliding pairs during slip-roll motion. The analysis focused on the frictional forces at various rolling to slip ratios. The kinematic parameters of the friction node were th...
THE INFLUENCE OF CHO ADDITIVES ON THE SURFACE LAYER
The paper presents results of investigations of CHO additives, dissolved in the synthetic oils (PAO4 and Priolube), on the change of composition of the surface layer of the wear scar after the tribological tests under co...
COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF ABRASIVE WEAR-RESISTANCE OF BRINAR AND HARDOX STEELS
One of the most important problems encountered during operation of machine parts exposed to abrasive action is their wear. In addition, these parts often work under dynamic loads, so their satisfactory ductility is also...
A STUDY ON ANTIWEAR PROPERTIES OF GRAPHENE WATER-BASED LUBRICANT AND ITS CONTACT WITH METALLIC MATERIALS
Due to their ecological and financial aspects, water-based lubricants may be competitive in use for production and sustainable technology. The paper presents tribological measurements results in the ball-flat friction no...
THE INFLUENCE OF THE TYPE OF FILLER IN GREASE ON THE LUBRICATION EFFICIENCY SLIDING STEEL NODES
In the paper, investigations of the influence of the type of filler in grease on lubrication efficiency in steel sliding nodes working in mixed lubrication conditions are presented. The analysed fillers (presenting each...
