THE INFLUENCE OF MOTOR PREPARATION ON THE EFFECTIVENESS OF LOW-SPRINT START (SEMG)
Journal Title: Medycyna Sportowa - Year 2014, Vol 30, Issue 4
Abstract
Background. Owing to the development of technology diagnosing various aspects of sports techniques, it is possible very precise registration of data in real training conditions, how also to counteract and prevent injuries. The main goal of preliminary research is to examine the effectiveness of the sprinters’ low start depending on their motor preparation among healthy sprinters. Were also analyzed the timing intervals of bioelectric muscular activity in the phase of low start and the EMG signal value depending on the sprinters’ sports level. Material and methods. The subject of analysis were the N=5 sprinters of the specialist phase (age: 21,75±3,03) with the training experience of 6,40 (±1,79) and o group N=5 of the 5 th and 6 th year MA students (age: 20,80 ±4,53). Research method – quality analysis of the results. Results. During of the low-sprint start phase after the command „ready” sprinters have a shorter starting reaction time (0,156s) compared with a group of students (0,212s). Whereas the lower level of motor preparation and of technical skill, the less power generated during startup acceleration, and this causes the activation of additional muscle before the beep.Conclusions. If the shorter (starting) reaction time, the effectiveness of the low startincreases. The level of motor preparation sprinters develop greater speed over a distance, as well as greater explosive strength and power of reflection. The greater explosive strength – the greater the initial velocity.
