Journal Title: Гастроентерологія - Year 2019, Vol 53, Issue 2
Abstract
Currently, the prevention of hepatitis A in populations with the intermediate level of endemicity is a significant issue. Vaccination associated with the importance of environmental and personal hygiene and sanitation are the most effective methods of prophylaxis in the world. Hepatitis A vaccination provides long-term protective effects, it is well tolerated and has less side effects. The possibility of hepatitis A vaccination should be considered, especially in the risk groups of populations with the intermediate level of endemicity for hepatitis A.
