THE MODEL OF PROFESSIONAL AND PEDAGOGICAL COMPETENCE FORMATION FOR STUDENTS OF MASTER DEGREE COURSE OF AGRARIAN SPECIALITIES

Abstract

The need of society in highly skilled workers of agrarian sector determines new requirements for the teacher of higher education of agrarian speciality. In this context the formation of professional and pedagogical competence of students of master degree course has special significance. The paper focuses on the components of the model of professional and pedagogical competence for students of master degree course of agrarian specialities. The model has been determined on the basis of theoretical analysis of pedagogical literature. The author analyses three main components: in particular, action-oriented, content-oriented, diagnostic results components. The characteristics of the given components have been investigated. The action-oriented component is determined by social need; the content-oriented component includes scientific approaches, principles, pedagogical conditions, forms, methods of work, stages of competence formation, subjects and types of students’ activity; diagnostic results component contains criteria, indicators and levels for assessment of professional and pedagogical competence for students of master degree course of agrarian specialities. The connection between the components has been considered.
