THE MODIFICATION OF HERMENEUTICAL THESAURUS IN C. GEERTS’ INTERPRETIVE ANTHROPOLOGY

Abstract
Authors analyse the hermeneutical apparatus of C. Geertz’s interpretive anthropology. The differ- ence between his hermeneutical tack and the technique of conventional hermeneutics is clarified. The gist of the hermeneutical circle modification is elucidated. Prospects of the modified hermeneutical circle appli- cation are outlined.
