The Postcolonial Author as the Interpreter of the Culture

Abstract
The article deals with the concept of "culture" formed by the post-colonial literature studies. Postcolonial studies or postcolonial theory are a new direction of the humanitarian knowledge development where interaction of philosophy, history, literature, and policy for researching scientific theories that the most influenced ones in the intellectual development of humankind until the second half of the twentieth century. Postcolonial literature was established by the literary critic Edward Said, who explained the features of the dissimilarities between Western or European and other communities that had been colonized for a long period by western nations. After the liquidation of the colonial system among former colonial nations, the specific synthesis of Western colonial culture and national traditions took place. Postcolonial studies, therefore, are trying to solve the problems of national, ideological and cultural people's identification that remains in the post-colonial situation. Every representative of postcolonial literature suggests reviewing the problems that are consistent with its national identity and cultural environment. E. Said explains the problem of post-colonial societies in the context of ''Orientalism" concept , G. Spivak observes the post-colonial discourse in the subject of feminism; E. Thompson analyzes Russian imperialism and argues that in addition to Western colonialism there still exists Eastern form of colonialism. A critical review of culture, which is proposed in post-colonial literature helps to define the nature of the conflicts that took place within the geographic, political, national, and anthropological space of consciousness, having caused division of human society in the West and the East, developed - backward, postmodern - Modern - other. Review of the concept of culture through the lens of postcolonial discourse helps to find out why in today's society there is a division between nations of the "First World" and the "Third World", which exists in postcolonial situation of cultural identity and strives to overcome the effects of colonialism.
