THE PRACTICE OF REGULATING THE EFFECTS OF NON-PRICE COMPETITION IN UKRAINE

Abstract
Globalization allows Ukrainian companies to enter new markets, opening them not only to new opportunities but also forces to adapt to new conditions of functioning of the market, according to the international standards. Creating a competitive environment, the protection of economic competition and regulation of market relations directly affect the economic development of the country. The last years are characterized the influence of countervailing factors on the terms of the competitive environment in the economy of Ukraine. On the one hand, political stability based on democratic principles and the consolidation of Ukrainian society based on European aspirations, the course of the development of a market economy, deregulation of economic life have contributed to the creation of conditions for development of competitive relations on the national commodity markets. One of the main factors hindering the development of economic processes is unequal conditions of competition emerging, including through the use of active entities of non-price methods of fair and unfair competition and regulated through the methods of state regulation of competition. The need for regulation of firms with market power is caused by such features of monopolies in the current conditions: monopoly related to the receipt of economies of scale of production, leading to reduced costs; monopoly associated with ownership advantages of dynamic firms in terms of scientific and technological progress; monopoly of large companies is accompanied by expansion, expansion of their influence in the economy; Monopolies lead a social cost (net welfare loss due to inefficient allocation of resources as a result of shortfalls and high prices); inefficiencies in the management and organization of production. State policy on limitation of monopolism and development of competition is an integral component of domestic economic and social policy. The most important tasks of the state owned balancing tendency to monopolize competition mechanisms, targeted assistance of state authorities to the development of competitive principles in the economy.
