The Prioritization of Business Strategies in Supply Chain through TOPSIS Method

Abstract
The organizations play a major role in the attainment of countries’ economic, political and social objectives. Therefore, they might face different and numerous problems in realization of the objectives of their societies. One of the fundamental challenges for the contemporary organizations is to compete in the present dynamic environments. To win victory, the organizations should have flexible structures to properly respond to the environmental conditions. Strategy could be defined as the codification process of long-term objectives, execution of the pre-defined procedures and assignment of the necessary resources to realize objectives. On the other hand, the organizations need to use proper models such as supply chain management to obtain a suitable position. Therefore, the present paper endeavors to identify the business strategies of obtaining proper organizational position in the present competitive environment and to prioritize them based on TOPSIS method.
