The Problem of Evil in Plato’s Philosophy

Abstract

As it is known, problems in philosophy are eternal and they are more crucial than solutions. One of these problems is the problem of evil. In this article, the problem of evil which was first handled in the history of philosophy by the ancient Greek Philosopher Plato, is examined. Since Plato, this problem has occupied the attention of both philosophers, particularly Epikuros, and theologians in almost every age.
