THE QUESTIONS OF SPINNING FRICTION IN AN ELASTIC POINT OF CONTACT
Journal Title: Tribologia - Year 2010, Vol 232, Issue 4
Abstract
The paper presents tangential stress as a result of friction change in the stress distribution in upper surface layer. The increase of this stress may be up to 100% at field of acting greater to 30%. It causes plastic deformation of mating surfaces and their intensive wear during work.
