THE REALISATION OF THE CREATIVITY PRINCIPLE AT THE LESSONS OF THE UKRAINIAN LANGUAGE STYLISTICS IN HIGHER SCHOOL

Abstract
Principles of training are the foundation for the studying process of Stylistics of the Ukrainian language in higher school, they regulate it and cover all the aspects of educational activity. This didactic category is not permanent, it is constantly changing and updating – the views on the theoretical foundations of studying transform and new principles appear. The organization of the stylistics study at higher school requires a thoughtful approach to the selection of the teaching principles and their scientific substantiation as well as the definition of methodological ways of their implementation. The aim of our article is to analyse the implementation aspects of the creativity principle into teaching Stylistics to the future teachers of the Ukrainian Language and Literature, we mean such areas of the creative environment as a creative process and a creative product. The creativity principle at the lessons of Stylistics of the Ukrainian Language at higher school is realised through a creative personality (student and teacher), creative process, creative product. The creative personality and the creative product require the organisation of the creative process at the Stylistics lessons, that is, productive mental activity, the result of which is a qualitatively new, interesting result (outcome). The varieties of the creative process are defined: the actual disciplinary creative process is a direct study of the Ukrainian language Stylistics in class and the masterying of certain issues of the discipline without any assistance; interdisciplinary creative process, during which the knowledge on the discipline becomes deeper; the extra-curriculum creative process correlates with the expansion of information from Stylistics through the organisation of students’ research activities, in particular, classes in scientific clubs and problem groups, students’ involvement into the preparation of scientific projects in Stylistics, etc. It is important for a student, as a creative person, to enter into the creative process of studying, to achieve the result – a new, creative product. It involves a non-standard solution of stylistic problems and the implementation of stylistic exercises and tasks, language mastering in oral and written forms, stylistic analysis of the text, the results of students’ research activities, the making of creative plans of the Ukrainian language lessons, and other forms. The creativity development of the future teachers of the Ukrainian Language and Literature positively influences the widening of the linguistic outlook, the formation of a holistic viewing of the world, the interest in their profession and the quality of the implementation of professional functions, as well as the motivation to constantly improve their scientific and methodological levels.
