The relationship between knowledge management and creativity among Tabriz physical education teachers

Abstract

The aim of this article is to investigate the relationship between knowledge management and creativity among Tabriz physical education teachers. The statistical population consists of 281 Tabriz physical education teachers that the statistical sample was chosen 165 Tabriz physical education teachers by using Morgan table.This research is descriptive and correlative and the data were collected by Nanoka knowledge management questionnaire (1995) and Randsepp creativity questionnaire (1979). The nominal and content validity was confirmed by experts of physical education management and Cronbach alpha was employed for measuring reliability of the questionnaires. Cronbach alpha coefficient was obtained 0.90 for knowledge management questionnaire questionnaire and it was 0.71 for creativity questionnaire. Descriptive statistics (frequency, mean, standard deviation) and inferential statistics (Pearson and Spearman correlation coefficient, independent t test and etc) were used and the data were analyzed by statistical software spss 21.The results show that in personal characteristics, the highest studies license is Bachelor of Science %59.3, the lowest is studying %3.1 and the highest age range is 35-45 years by %59.1 and the lowest range is 55 year and upper by % 0.6, the highest serving years is 20-29 by %44.2 and the lowest serving years is 30 and upper by %0.6.The results of the hypotheses test showed that there is a significant relationship between knowledge management and creativity and there is a relationship between socialization and internalization and externalization and there is no relationship between combination and creativity and there is no significant difference between male and female physical education teachers’ knowledge management and male and female physical education teachers’ creativity.
