The Relationship between Strategic Planning of Information Technology and Infrastructure Perspective toward Information Technology in Organization (Case Study: Urmia Tax Administration)

Abstract
Strategic planning means the planning for future in any direction that is intended by organization. Strategic planning of information technology for organization is an evidence which determines the design of organizational information in the light of strategic considerations such as missions, goals, and organizational priorities. In other words, strategic planning of information technology is regarded as the reflection and major plan in the field of information systems nd information technology. Different approaches are employed for planning. Currently, the overcoming approach for devising long-term plan or total plan of information technology is organizational design approach or information technology design. The aim of the present study is to get acquaintance with organizational approach in an attempt to plan for information systems and to examine the relationship between strategic planning of information technology with a perspective of infrastructure toward information technology.
