The relationship between the use of cell phones and social trauma, psychological disorders in Bandar Abbas high school students

Abstract
ABSTRACT The purpose of this researchis to study the relationship between cell phone usage and social trauma, psychological disorder have beenstudents of Bandar Abbas.In this study, 300 male and female high school students from the city of Bandar Abbas stratified random sampling method based on Krejcie & Morganwere selected by sampling.The questionnaire was used for data collection .The content experts confirmed validity of the questionnaire and its reliability by using Cronbach's alpha is calculated in software Spss 0.86.To analyze the data, Pearson's coefficient of correlation and regression are used .Pearson correlation coefficient results showed that cell phone use increases the psychological disorder of 0.35 and social trauma coefficient by a factor of 0.18 is a significant level of 0.01. Therefore, it is important to inform students and parents that they should be offered for proper use of cell phone so that social trauma and psychological disorder of the target population decrease.
