The role of cooperatives in the development of rural territories

Abstract
The scientific ideas of agrarian economists on theoretical, methodological and practical principles of cooperation have been generalized. The development of private households in Lviv region, their area of agricultural land and the amount of cattle have been analyzed. The cooperatives in the rural territories have been regarded as collective activities for achieving certain goals under conditions of implementation the international cooperation principles. The important elements when regarding the scientific grounds of rural cooperation is identifying the leader of rural commune and non-profit approach to cooperative structure.
