THE ROLE OF INTERMEDIATION IN THE GLOBALIZATION OF WORLD ECONOMICS

Abstract
In the article the author suggested the research of the importance of mediation in the conditions of globalization of the world economy. Positive and negative manifestations of the use of intermediary organizations’ services were revealed particularly when companies enter foreign markets. The main stages of development of trade with the help of intermediary firms at the present stage of the world economy development are identified. The author investigates the features of intermediary activity in different countries of the world with an emphasis on participation of wholesale and retail traders in export activities. It is determined that the dominant tendencies influencing the modern features of the intermediary activity in the world trade are active implementation of the latest technologies, threats of disintermediation, expansion of functions and spheres of use of intermediary services.
