Abstract
The article marks the beginning of a study of the importance of soft power in the relations of the Republic of Bulgaria with the Western Balkan countries and their European perspective. The publication is part of a research project by lecturers, students and PhD students in State university of Library Studies and Information Technologies with topic "The Experience of the Republic of Bulgaria in the Process of joining the NATO and the European Union and the Euro-Atlantic Perspective of the Western Balkan Countries".
