THE SAFETY OF WORKING CONDITIONS AT DIAGNOSTIC TESTS OF ORDNANCE

Abstract
The paper presents some issues of the safety of working conditions [3] at diagnostic tests of the ordnance which are carried out after the expiration of warranty periods of technical serviceability or to check its technical status. Such tests are necessary to pass a decision on the extension and conditions of ordnance further service life. Tests of particular subunits and components of ordnance are necessary for realistic evaluation of its technical status. In order to get the access to them a disassembling of piece of ordnance is necessary. The ordnance is disposable equipment in general and its designs are not susceptible to disassembling. Moreover life time and conditions of the service affect the physical-chemical properties of materials used for its fabrication what increases the risk of hazardous situations at disassembling. The safety of the personnel engaged in testing the ordnance is the most important issue. This safety is materialised through continuous and complete analysis of factors affecting the safety of working conditions in all operations performed during tests over particular piece of ordnance.<br/><br/>
