THE SHORTAGE OF NATURAL RESOURCES AND INTEGRATION PROCESSES IN MODERN SOCIETY

Abstract
The article is devoted to socio-environmental problems in modern society. The essence of interconnection of social and natural areas along with the character traits of socio-environmental problems in international discourse are examined. An emphasis is made on the shortage of natural resources as a social problem. The concept of resource availability and its influence on social processes are constructed. The role of the shortage of natural resources and socio-environmental risks in general in the society’s development is explained. A special emphasis is made on the characteristics of the impact of natural resources shortage on social processes in modern society. The constructive role of the shortage of natural resources in the information society is emphasized; the innovative model of society's development is substantiated. Particular attention is paid to the characteristics of the implementation of both the concept of sustainable development and the prevention principle in a modern society.
