Abstract

Aim: The research aims to study the security situation posed by the Syrian situation in the Jordanian mode. To show the importance of establishing accommodating centres for refugees on the Jordanian-Syrian borders. Method: To collect information about refugees, qualitative analysis was used. The information was gathered from online databases. Findings: The findings show that Jordan has witnessed an influx of hundreds of thousands of refugees through the northern borders, in a legitimate manner or illegal one. And this heavy exodus happened to search for security and safety, hoping to find treatment for the wounded and injured during the events that erupted in Syria. Moreover, The Jordanian government opened The Za’atari refugee camp to face the increasing numbers of Syrian refugees who had entered the country at the beginning of September. Therefore, the Jordanian Cabinet decided on 9/7/2012 to establish the emergency camps for refugees in the kingdom, welcoming the Syrian refugees to live there. Implications/Novel Contribution: This study is important since it can be useful for security and statistical purposes to handle the security-related imbalances that urgently occurred due to the Syrian refugees. Moreover, libraries can be provided with a scientific summary of urgent national trouble. Eventually, this study helps find solutions to the Syrian issue.
