THE THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL FOUNDATIONS OF THE TECHNOLOGICAL EDUCATION

Abstract
Today, the scientific information, the personal social role and the intellectualization of the labour, the current level of engineering and technology determines the direction of development and modernization of technological education, in compliance with socio)economic requirements of the modern society. During the consideration and more specific development of the educational system of technology, the following theoretical and methodological approaches can be defined: the anthropological, that considers the person in his integrated form; the system that allows educators to create an educational system of upbringing and the formation of a creative person with a focus on the production technology, the technology as a process and the technology as an achievement; the synergistic, that defines this system as a dynamic system of continuous development and improvement, self)regulation and self)management; the axiological, which provides priority of society’s values and personality as a basic aspect of the value of the technological education; the culturological, that gives the opportunity to join the centuries)old cultural experience and to preserve and develop the spiritual and material values of the person and society; the activity, which controls the implementation of accumulated knowledge through different kinds of technologies and other substantive work to improve themselves and the environment. These conceptual approaches allow understanding the main directions and conditions of the educational system of technology, to outline the opportunity for development of a programme of upbringing and education of the person, capable to carry out professional activities in accordance with socio)economic (production) and moral situations.
