The Theoretical Aspects of the Understanding of the Category

Abstract
The aim of the article is the systematization and analysis of major theoretical concepts of "enterprise development" category, the definition of various relationships with the aim of grouping according to certain criteria and formulation of the author's position of understanding of this category. The article examines the theoretical foundations of the concepts of "development", "development of the enterprise." Systematization of viewpoints allowed researchers to justify various relationships in their positions and highlight four approaches, defining the essence of understanding and a set of basic components, which are the key in the formation of a particular campaign for the development of the enterprise. It was suggested to consider the progressive development, which is based on the quantitative growth of the company. In the adaptation development the focus is on increasing the flexibility to change the passage through the various stages and crises. Transformational development occurs by changing the qualitative status through the accumulation and use of capacity, where the dominant advocate changes in structural and functional characteristics under the influence of internal and external environment. Sustainable development includes finding the balance and stability of the enterprise resilience by maintaining their high potential in the future. The systematization allowed the author to form her own vision of the category of "enterprise development".
