THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL APPROACHES TO THE ASSORTMENT DEFINITION

Abstract
The article considers modern scientific approaches to the interpretation of the essence of assortment. Merchandising and commercial content of assortment is determined. Factors influencing the formation of an assortment of a trading enterprise are singled out. Features of the formation of trade assortment structure are considered. Different methods of assortment building are investigated.
