THEORETICAL ASPECTS OF STRUCTURE OF MERGERS AND ACQUISITIONS

Abstract
The theoretical aspects of the strategy of «mergers and acquisitions» are studied in the article, the classification of mergers and acquisitions processes of companies is highlighted. Methodological component selected Herfindahl-Hirschman index, used to assess the level of monopolization of the industry, making decisions about the appropriateness of mergers and acquisitions, creating condi-tions for companies to compete. The directions of increasing the competitiveness of the domestic economy are determined.
