Thermoregulation of the human body: norm and pathology
Journal Title: Український неврологічний журнал - Year 2018, Vol 0, Issue 3
Abstract
Body temperature is one of the parameters needed to assess the vital activity of the human body, one of the flexible constant of assessing a person’s homeostasis. The article deals with the anatomical and physiological features of the thermoregulation center — the hypothalamus, which establishes a constant equilibrium of heat production and heat transfer, that allows maintaining body temperature in optimal for the life of the organism limits. Principal differences in the pathogenesis of conditions with an increase in body temperature are distinguished.
