This article examines the contribution of museums in Volyn region

Abstract
The museums of Volyn to elucidated a history of one’s own country by means of presentation of the sights of antiquity collected and stored by them on the exhibitions of local and all-russian levels. Arranging exhibitions at local level was associated , as a rulel with the visiting of Volyn by high-ranking State persons, commemorative dates in the life of the province, with a desire to inform the community about the facilities in museum available collections etc. The special attention is spared on popularization of Volyn antiquities during realization of all-Russian archaeological conventions. Attention to, that the most complete ancient of antiquity from museum establishment of Volyn were presented on an exhibition during of ХІ archaeological convention (Kyiv, August, 1899). The fact of them wide exposure talked about the cultural and art value of Volyn Antiquities and about recognition museums of Volyn province.
