Tools to fight the political corruption in the Central countries and Eastern Europe: An Assessment of Effectiveness on the example of Romania and Bulgaria

Abstract
The article examines political corruption in the region of Central and Eastern Europe on the example of Romania and Bulgaria. It focuses on the main causes of political corruption in the countries of the region, as well as obstacles to eradicating this phenomenon from the political process. The attention was paid to the main differences in the process of combating political corruption in Romania and Bulgaria.
