Tourism Development in the Czech and the Slovak Republics

Abstract
The author analyzes the development of tourism in the Czech and Slovak Republic after the split of Czechoslovakia in 1993. In the first part, the author very briefly focuses on the development of tourism in the Czechoslovakia into separate phases. The second part evaluates and compares the development of tourism in the Czech and Slovak Republic, with basic statistics.
